STRATEGY
We breed jumping and dressage horses from mares with a proven bloodline. Selections are made on the basis of external appearance, character and sporting performance – in that order of priority!
In the first instance, our aim is to breed a beautiful-looking horse with a good character. Sporting performance will normally follow automatically, since we only work with maternal lineages of well-established quality.

UNORTHODOX BREAKING IN TECHNIQUES
Our techniques for the ‘breaking in’ of young foals – teaching them to be docile and getting them used to the saddle – are somewhat unorthodox. We use absolutely no form of pressure or physical coercion. By means of subtle body signals, we are able to build a relationship of trust with our foals from a very early age. After the foals have been weaned, they live for three years as part of a herd in open stables, with adjoining pastureland. At regular intervals they are kept for a period of a week in separate closed stalls, so that the care and training processes can be continued.
