The purpose of Arovo Equestrian International is both clear and unequivocal: to live with horses and to be with horses.

Each day in our stud farm we experience the synergy which exists between the various equestrian disciplines, ranging from show jumping and classical riding, right through to soft horsemanship techniques, ethology, psychology, hippotherapy, etc.

We are an academy which seeks to live and work with horses in a light and playful manner, with a total absence of compulsion.

We are firmly opposed to any form of pressure, coarseness or violence when dealing with our horses – practices which are sadly all too evident in many branches of modern-day equestrian sport.

With our atypical approach, based on compassion and tenderness, we aim to elevate our life with horses to the level of an art form.

As a young and relatively ‘immature’ organisation, we are gradually evolving at a pace which gives both man and horse the opportunity to get to know each other. We have started on an exciting voyage of discovery, a voyage which will be given shape and meaning by the efforts and enthusiasm of all those involved.

We do not know what the future will bring and, in one sense, this is not important. For us, it is the journey which matters, not the final destination. We have the good fortune to be engaged in a lifelong journey which allows us to enjoy the companionship of that most wonderful of creatures: the horse.
